Head Over Heels
A project that was introduced in 2001 and retired in 2004 is back and better than ever!!
The project in its prior form, the clown-like doll/bracelet retired, BUT was re-released as a special 10th anniversary issue in the original kit colors at the 10th anniversary Bead and Button show. A limited number of each color were created for the show and some are still available. They are here online while supplies last. After that, only the limited edition series will be available.
The limited edition collection of Head Over Heels is a series of bracelets based on the same Head Over Heels pattern but each with its own unique spin on the theme.
The first in the series was Head Over Heels for Halloween. She was a smashing hit and has now retired. Head Over Heels for the Holidays and Head Over Heels Queen of Hearts followed. Watch for Head Over Heels Harvest and Snowbaby later this year!
Each piece in the series will only be available for 3 months... after that, it retires, making way for a new whimsical girl to take her place.
As a beadmaker, I needed a way to keep the focal glass beads that are used in the project fun and exciting for me. The original Head Over Heels became too repetitive and it was for that reason, she was retired. These new limited edition girls will give me more freedom to design, as well as something exciting for my customers to look forward to.
Thank you for the warm reception to the new versions of these girls. I'm SO happy to be able to bring them back in a new way!!
